Project Engineer thermoplastics
For the application group thermoplastic assemblies, KVE’s patented Induction welding process is the main topic for our research and development. Currently, this process is licensed to tier 1 and 2 companies for the assembly of primary aircraft structures. Supported by current development projects and collaboration with Daher, KVE is aiming to further optimise and industrialize the induction welding process. In addition, an increasing number of aerospace product developments will be done using this unique thermoplastic assembly process.
In support of this journey to success, KVE is expanding the engineering team with multiple project engineers.
KVE will further optimize and industrialize the induction welding process. With your effort KVE’s welding process will be used in an increasing number of aircraft. You will support material qualification, optimize and produce welding tooling and equipment, and develop demonstrators and prototypes. You are the project holder from the specification to the product realisation phase and you will ensure that the right process specifications are determined, followed and optimized, while taking care that the project stays within budget and time schedule.
To be successful in this role, you need to have a passion for composites! Furthermore, you have professional or academic educational background, preferably a bachelor degree or higher in the field of technology. You live in The Netherlands and are able to communicate in Dutch (verbal and in writing).
During the coming years you will become a specialist in KVE’s induction welding process and will learn to perform (aerospace) product developments with the manufacturing processes of KVE. KVE will create the conditions that enable you to realize your full potential. We will do so by providing support, training and opportunities to further develop your talents in a stimulating and inspiring composite environment.
